Airport Transfers

When coming to the southern Costa Blanca there are two major airports to chose from, Alicante airport is north of our holiday apartment and is the closest at 37 kilometres. Murcia airport is south west of our apartment and is around 100 kilometres. The airport you arrive at will be decided by the company you chose to fly with but we can arrange transfers whichever airport you chose.

When we travel, we normally fly using Monarch Scheduled or British Airways and have found that if booked a good time in advance the flights are often cheaper than EasyJet or RyanAir. Still they all have their merits, just remember not all airlines will fly to both Alicante airport and Murcia airport it is usually one or the other. If you decide you would like us to arrange the transfers for you then you will need to let us know your flight times as soon as possible. Please get in touch with us to find out the cost of transfers but these are approximately €30 to €50 (depending on airport) each way per vehicle, not person. The transfer fee is payable to the driver in Spain, there may be an additional charge for airport transfers between 11pm and 6am.

The advantage of being collected is that you can relax whilst being transported to your accomodation. The driver will help with your luggage and explain the facilities of our apartment and also give you a brief tour of Guardamar del Segura on arrival. Your keys for the apartment will also be handed over at this time.

Self Drive

Should you wish to hire a car directly from the airport and drive yourself to the apartment then directions will be given on receipt of final payment of your holiday. You will be met at your accomodation by our representatives who will explain the facilities of our apartment and deliver your keys. There will be a minimal charge for this service of approximately €25 paid directly in Spain. The transfers from Alicante airport are the fastest as they only take about 25 minutes to reach our Guardamar apartment. However the trip from Murcia airport, whilst longer, is also a nice trip and will get you to our holiday apartment in time to enjoy the Costa Blanca sunshine.
